Desktop Switching Power Supply - 120VAC Input, 12V Output, 10 Amp This high efficiency UL-60950-1 approved AC-DC power converter provides a highly regulated output DC voltage of 13. 8 Volts at 10 Amps with an AC input of 120 Volts, 60 Hz (230 Volts, 50 Hz model also available).
These advanced switch-mode DC power supplies were designed specifically for use with land mobile radio. The power supplies produce clean reliable power and are highly filtered to suppress RFI.
The unit comes with a detachable power supply cord with NEMA 5-15P plug. Features include over-current, short-circuit and over-voltage protection.
The AC-DC power supply conforms to FCC Part 15(B), class B digital device. - Marine wire uses tinned (tin-coated) copper strands that resist the corrosion salt air causes, and it’s more finely stranded so it flexes with vibration without breaking. Standard automotive or household wire corrodes and fails much faster in a marine environment.
- How do I size a fuse for a marine circuit?
- Size the fuse to protect the wire, not just the device. Match the fuse rating to the wire gauge’s safe current capacity so the fuse blows before the wire overheats. When adding a new circuit, follow the wire manufacturer’s ampacity chart for the gauge and run length you’re using.
- Do I need a battery switch on my boat?
