100W Fully Isolated DC-DC Converter - 8A - 20-35V Input - 12. 5V Output IDC-100 series is a complete line of high efficiency 100 Watt isolated DC-DC converters suitable for applications requiring galvanic isolation between the input and the output.
IDC-100B-12 isolated DC-DC converter provides a highly regulated output DC voltage of 12. 5 Volts for an input DC voltage range of 20-35 Volts and rated output current of 8 Amps (at 35 Volts input).
Features of this isolated DC-DC converter include compact housing, fold-back current limiting and protection against short circuit, overheating, overvoltage and reverse polarity connection. The unit comes with 1/4” push-on flat blade “quick disconnect” connectors.
IDC-100B-12 isolated DC-DC converter is EMI/EMC compliant and conforms to European standards EN50081-1 (for EMI), EN50082-1 (for EMC) and the European Automotive Directive 95/54/CE. - What’s the difference between marine wire and regular wire?
- Marine wire uses tinned (tin-coated) copper strands that resist the corrosion salt air causes, and it’s more finely stranded so it flexes with vibration without breaking. Standard automotive or household wire corrodes and fails much faster in a marine environment.
- How do I size a fuse for a marine circuit?
- Size the fuse to protect the wire, not just the device. Match the fuse rating to the wire gauge’s safe current capacity so the fuse blows before the wire overheats. When adding a new circuit, follow the wire manufacturer’s ampacity chart for the gauge and run length you’re using.
- Do I need a battery switch on my boat?
