Poco™ 4 Digital Light Control Module Poco Digital Lighting Control delivers powerful, low-cost, on-board lighting control through a compatible MFD or connected smart device in a simple, easy-to-install control module. Poco 4 is the latest iteration of the award-winning Poco system and introduces innovative features such as intelligent sound-to-light, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and CAN bus integration.
When installed with Lumitec’s PLIenabled lights, even more functionality is unleashed – precise control over color selection and intensity, custom lighting scene creation with interactive sound-to-light, and the ability to add ‘virtual circuits’ on a single channel, allowing aftermarket installers to add lights and improve on-board lighting designs without adding any additional wire runs. Specifications: Power Line Instruction IP Rated 3-Year Warranty *The Poco Digital Control Module can be controlled through a compatible MFD or connected smart device (not included).

- What navigation lights does my boat legally need?
- It depends on your boat’s length and type. Navigation rules specify which lights (sidelights, stern light, masthead/all-round) and what visibility range are required. Check the requirements for your specific boat and make sure any replacement lights are certified compliant for that size.
- Should I switch to LED marine lights?
- For most boaters, yes. LEDs use far less power, run cooler, and last much longer than incandescent bulbs — a real advantage given limited onboard battery capacity. Just confirm any LED nav-light replacement is certified to meet the required brightness and color.
- What makes a light “marine-grade”?
- Marine-grade lights use sealed, corrosion-resistant housings (stainless, marine polymer, or coated aluminum) and gaskets that keep moisture out, plus wiring and connectors that resist salt corrosion. Ordinary automotive or household fixtures fail quickly in a marine environment.
