C-Light™ The LED C-Light™ is a manually activated steady-on personal distress light with dramatically improved operating life. This rugged little waterproof light has a 20 lumen LED that operates typically for 30 hours continuously.
The C-Light™ is activated manually with an easy twist On/Off activation making this an ideal light for all outdoor enthusiasts. The slim, lightweight and versatile design fits easily in a pocket or hangs discreetly when attached to a life jacket or backpack.
The flexible lashing loops on the side of the product allow for multiple mounting options including the webbing on your backpack or straps on your life jacket. The Velcro® strap can be secured around the lashing loops and creates countless additional mounting possibilities.

- What safety equipment is legally required on my boat?
- Requirements vary by boat length and operating area but generally include a Coast Guard-approved life jacket for each person, fire extinguisher(s) of the correct class, visual distress signals, and a sound-producing device. Confirm the exact list for your boat’s size and where you operate.
- How many life jackets do I need?
- You need at least one properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jacket (PFD) for every person aboard, and boats 16 feet and over generally also need a throwable flotation device. Fit matters — a PFD that fits and is worn is what actually saves lives.
- Do marine flares and fire extinguishers expire?
- Yes. Pyrotechnic flares have an expiration date (typically about 42 months) and must be replaced, and fire extinguishers must be within date, charged, and undamaged. Check both on a schedule and replace anything expired — required safety gear only counts if it’s current.
