Foam Ring Buoy - 24" - Orange w/White Grab Line Inspected and tested in accordance with U. S.

Coast Guard regulations. All rings contain unicellular polyurethane foam for buoyancy.

Floating polypropylene grab lines contain UV stabilizers to ensure sunlight resistance. PE and vinyl skin version feature molded-in becket design, vinyl coated foam versions use sewn-in beckets to secure grab line.

What safety equipment is legally required on my boat?
Requirements vary by boat length and operating area but generally include a Coast Guard-approved life jacket for each person, fire extinguisher(s) of the correct class, visual distress signals, and a sound-producing device. Confirm the exact list for your boat’s size and where you operate.
How many life jackets do I need?
You need at least one properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jacket (PFD) for every person aboard, and boats 16 feet and over generally also need a throwable flotation device. Fit matters — a PFD that fits and is worn is what actually saves lives.
Do marine flares and fire extinguishers expire?
Yes. Pyrotechnic flares have an expiration date (typically about 42 months) and must be replaced, and fire extinguishers must be within date, charged, and undamaged. Check both on a schedule and replace anything expired — required safety gear only counts if it’s current.
