Description
Clear Coat - 400ml PropOne Clear Coat is part of the PropOne System. The Clear Coat is a non-biocidal, low surface energy coating which prevents organisms from strongly adhering to the surface of the propeller and running gear components permanently immersed in water.
The Clear Coat does not prevent marine growth by leaching biocides into the environment. NOTE: This product is the PropOne Clear Coat only.
Other components are sold separately. PropOne is a non-toxic foul-release coating that prevents sea life from adhering to propellers and underwater running gear.
It is used on thousands of boats worldwide every year, with a proven track record of over 8 years. Non-stick, super slick coating that lasts 1-2 years in water!
It works, it’s the one. No.
1 Foul release coating for propellers and running gear. Proven season after season to keep your propellers and running gear clean.
PropOne is used on many thousands of boats worldwide every year, with a proven track record of over 8 years.

Boat Outfitting — frequently asked
- What material should marine hardware be made of?
- For most exposed hardware, 316 stainless steel is the marine standard — it resists salt corrosion far better than 304 stainless or plated steel. Marine-grade aluminum, UV-stabilized nylon, and King StarBoard are also common for non-structural fittings.
- How do I know a replacement seat or hatch will fit?
- Measure the mounting pattern (bolt spacing), the cutout or base dimensions, and any post diameter or height on the part you’re replacing. Match those to the new part’s specs — outfitting parts follow common sizes but are not universal, so confirming dimensions avoids returns.
- Do I need backing plates for deck hardware?
- For anything that takes load — grab rails, cleats, ladder steps, seat pedestals — yes. A backing plate spreads the load across a larger area of the deck or transom so fasteners don’t pull through under stress.
