Description
Rinse-On Ceramic - 500ml Why use Gtechniq Marine Rinse-on Ceramic? Gtechniq Rinse-On-Ceramic is the fast and simple way to protect all your boat’s gloss surfaces.
The optically clear, non-yellowing, and UV-repelling coating crosslinks to any surface, such as gelcoat, topcoat, glass, metal, ceramic, or Plexiglass. Rinse-On Ceramic can be used at every wash down with a single application lasting up to 3 months.
Features: Water repelling Hose on protection Coat your boat quickly and easily Simple steps to help you get the best results: Insert the hose attachment, connect the hose, and then thoroughly rinse down all surfaces. Turn the forward knob to introduce the coating into the water feed.
Apply to an area measuring no more than 10ft x 10ft (3m x 3m). Once all surfaces have been fully coated, turn the forward knob back to its original position and rinse down all surfaces thoroughly.
When rinsed, dry with a Gtechniq Microfibre Drying Towel.

Boat Outfitting — frequently asked
- What material should marine hardware be made of?
- For most exposed hardware, 316 stainless steel is the marine standard — it resists salt corrosion far better than 304 stainless or plated steel. Marine-grade aluminum, UV-stabilized nylon, and King StarBoard are also common for non-structural fittings.
- How do I know a replacement seat or hatch will fit?
- Measure the mounting pattern (bolt spacing), the cutout or base dimensions, and any post diameter or height on the part you’re replacing. Match those to the new part’s specs — outfitting parts follow common sizes but are not universal, so confirming dimensions avoids returns.
- Do I need backing plates for deck hardware?
- For anything that takes load — grab rails, cleats, ladder steps, seat pedestals — yes. A backing plate spreads the load across a larger area of the deck or transom so fasteners don’t pull through under stress.
