Sun-DURA® 8' Talon Cover - Grey Universal Power Pole and Talon covers are an excellent solution for protecting the finish and prolonging the original appearance of these costly anchoring devices. Slip-on design makes for quick and easy installation and removal.
Attached strap system with heavy-duty buckle keeps the cover securely in place. Power Pole Cover is available in 4 sizes.
Talon Cover is available in 3 sizes. Sun-DURA® Excellent Quality 100% Solution Dyed Polyester means colors are part of the polyester fiber itself, rather than the dye adhering only to the surface of the fibers.
7oz. marine grade polyester that offers superior resistance to harmful UV rays, fading, mildew, tearing and overall wear-and-tear.
Our own unique finish provides exceptional water repellency while maintaining breathability for the health of the boat. Made in USA and Imported.

Winterizing — frequently asked
- What antifreeze should I use to winterize my boat?
- Use non-toxic marine (propylene glycol) antifreeze rated to a temperature safely below the coldest you expect. Do not use automotive ethylene glycol antifreeze in systems that touch potable water or discharge overboard — it’s toxic. Match the concentration to your climate and system.
- Why do I need to fog my engine for winter?
- Fogging oil coats the cylinders and internal metal surfaces so they don’t corrode while the engine sits unused for months. Combined with fresh oil, stabilized fuel, and proper antifreeze, it protects the engine from the moisture and acids that cause off-season damage.
- Is shrink wrap better than a cover for winter storage?
- Both work if done right. Shrink wrap gives a tight, weatherproof seal that’s great for outdoor storage but is single-season. A quality reusable cover is more economical over time. Either way, use support structure to shed water and add vents to prevent mildew.
